There’s an old saying: you get what you pay for! I was in need of a roof rack system for my enclosed trailer. One of the ones I found was from kmt service parts. But I thought they were way overpriced. I looked some more and found a few between $100 & $200. And ended up buying a set of 3 of them.They lasted about 2 months carrying my ladders. Just aluminum 20 ft ladders. They weren’t very strong and bowing down and eventually started breaking the welds. I need these to work! So I called the kmt people and started right off with the owner! He was very knowledgeable about what I needed. He was able to answer all my questions. He was very helpful. So I tried his 3 rack system for 7’ by 18’ enclosed trailer…. 4 months later and you can’t hurt these racks. I have also loaded some lumber (2x12x20’s) and some misc 2x4’s, held my breath back to the job site. My General Forman met me when I pulled in., He just shook his head and said what, are you, nuts!

Recently purchased a ladder rack to put on a small 4×6 trailer that I mounted a rooftop tent on. The rack was delivered quickly and was constructed much sturdier than I had expected. A couple of photos of the finished product. Was super satisfied with communications and ultimately how this turned out with the rack being intended for a different purpose.
