Only 2000 lb idler, & electric axles and 3500 Idler axles can be shipped via UPS ground. All other axles will be shipped by common carrier truck freight. All axles are subject to additional shipping due to the nature of the item. Truck freight runs approx. $ 100.00 for 3,500lb Electric axles and $150.00 for 5,200 lb, 6lb, & 7lb.
Multiple Trailer Axles will be affected also with the shipping cost.
UPS imposes an additional charge (same as on the Black and White Trailer Flooring) because of the oversized length on the 2,000lb. Idler axles and also the 3500lb idler axles. This charge generally runs $12.00- $25.00 depending on the axle.
(3500 lb with elec brakes must be shipped truck freight)
This website does not have a way to calculate in the added UPS charge. If you would like to know the charges before you order, please call us at 315-697-2441. We are open M-F 10:30 am to 4:00 pm (Eastern Time) or email us at sales@kmtparts.com. Otherwise, if you place an order using a credit card, the extra shipping charges will be added to your credit card total after you have submitted the order and you will be sent a copy of the order to print for your records.
If using PAYPAL, you must wait to hear from us after you have submitted your order for the additional charges and forward the balance remaining on the shipping via PAYPAL. The order can not be processed without full payment.
Please remember, Axles take 2-3 weeks from the Friday of the week you order to be made to your specifications! We can only submit axle orders by 12 noon on Fridays. If your order must be adjusted and paid for via Paypal, the time starts when final Paypal amount is sent before axle order is submitted.
